Copper Springbuck
The Copper Springbuck is not a subspecies, but a color phase of the South African Springbuck. Copper Springbuck were developed by selective breeding; the color of the skin is that of a dark copper color with a darkened stripe running down the flanks with a very dark face.

Black Springbuck were developed by selective breeding; the color of the skin is all black except for the white facial stripe running up the front of the nose. The trophy quality lies within the width of the bases, the overall length and the hooks/curls on the tips.

The Springbuck is an antelope found in South Africa. The name comes from the Afrikaans words for “jump” and “antelope” because the Springbok often go into bouts of repeated high leaps of up to 2 meters high in the air.
